Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains the purchase options available on PetPortrait AI, including one-time purchases and any subscription or recurring purchase options, and describes how you can manage or cancel them.

2. One-Time Purchases

All products on PetPortrait AI are available as one-time purchases. You select your product, complete checkout, and your order is processed as a single transaction. No recurring charges apply.

One-time purchases include:

• Digital portrait downloads
• Canvas prints
• Posters
• Apparel and other physical products

3. Subscription Products (if applicable)

Where subscription or "subscribe & save" options are offered on individual products, the following terms apply:

3.1 What You're Agreeing To

By selecting a subscription purchase option, you authorise PetPortrait AI to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency specified at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly, quarterly).

3.2 Subscription Billing

• You will be charged on the billing date specified at checkout
• The price and frequency will be clearly shown before you confirm your subscription
• You will receive a reminder email before each renewal charge (where required by law)

3.3 How to Cancel a Subscription

You may cancel a subscription at any time:

• Via your account: Log in to your account, go to "Subscriptions" or "Purchase Options," and select "Cancel"
• Via email: Contact us at hello@petportraitai.com with your order number and request to cancel

Cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle. If you cancel after a charge has been processed, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits for the remainder of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

3.4 Modifying a Subscription

You may modify your subscription (e.g., change the frequency or delivery address) by contacting us at hello@petportraitai.com or through your account settings.

4. Order Cancellations (One-Time Purchases)

One-time orders can be cancelled before they enter production. Since products are custom-made and sent to our fulfillment partner (Gelato) shortly after payment, the window for cancellation is short.

To request a cancellation:

1. Contact us immediately after placing your order at hello@petportraitai.com
2. Include your order number in your message
3. We will confirm whether cancellation is still possible

If cancellation is successful, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Once an order has entered production, it cannot be cancelled. See our Return and Refund Policy for options if there is a problem with your delivered order.

5. Digital Product Purchases

Digital portrait downloads are non-refundable once delivered. By purchasing a digital product, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal does not apply, as the product is clearly personalised and made specifically using your pet's photo.

6. EU Consumer Rights

If you are based in the European Union, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from purchases. However, under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, this right does not apply to:

• Clearly personalised or bespoke goods (which includes all PetPortrait AI products)
• Digital content downloaded or accessed after you have given explicit prior consent and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal

For any unresolved disputes, EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
